GourMay Mary Valley Food Festival 2026
PARTICIPATION INFORMATION AND APPLICATION
GourMay Mary Valley 2026 is an event auspiced by Mary Valley Chamber of Commerce
in support of local Mary Valley agriculture and tourism businesses, showcasing local farmers, producers, and chefs/ caterers.
The Mary Valley extends approximately 70km, from Crystal Waters to Jones Hill.
Areas considered part of the Mary Valley:
Traveston, Kybong, Langshaw, Calico Creek, Gilldora, Dagun, Amamoor, Kandanga, Carters Ridge, Imbil, Belli Park, Kenilworth, Conondale, Crystal Waters.
GourMay Mary Valley Food Festival is a series of events hosted by business and community groups at various locations across the valley.
A 'hero' event will be held every weekend in May and will feature a menu showcasing the very best of Mary Valley produce

Event Participation Criteria
To host an event and be included on the GourMay Mary Valley Food Festival 2026 calendar the following applies:
To host an event and be included on the GourMay Mary Valley Food Festival 2026 calendar the following applies:
- The event MUST be held in the Mary Valley as defined by the Mary Valley Chamber of Commerce.
- Satellite events where food is served MUST include a signature dish showcasing Mary Valley produce.
- The use of Mary Valley produce on the menu is encouraged. A signature event menu must have at least 85%of the ingredients sourced locally.
- The event operator does not have to be based in the Mary Valley - e.g. A tour operator running an event to/ in the Mary Valley.
- The GourMay Mary Valley Food Festival 2025 name and logo is to be used in all promotional activities.
- Mary Valley Chamber of Commerce takes no responsibility for loss, damage or injury to property, or people, at a GourMay Mary Valley Food Festival 2025 event.
- Events MUST be bookable using an online booking facility.
- Event booking facility MUST be available no later than February 28th 2026.
- All participating events must join in cross promotion of other GourMay Mary Valley Food Festival 2026 events through social media, including Festival Day and Gala Dinner.
Festival Day - Sunday 3rd May 2026
Festival Day will include the GourMay Kitchen and GourMay market.
Stallholders must have a presence within 50km of Imbil and ideally have a food related element.

- General market stalls

- Entertainment
Stallholders must have a presence within 50km of Imbil and ideally have a food related element.
This includes
- Food businesses operating in the Mary Valley – cafes, caterers, bakeries, manufacturers, shops
- Food farmed in the Mary Valley or within 50km of Imbil
- Produce made in the Mary Valley or within 50km of Imbil (jams, chutneys, cheese etc) where produce is sourced from other regions.
- Items for sale that are food, farming related – eg. aprons, tea towels, kitchen implements, cook books, farm supplies
- General items - make it, bake it, grow it, sew it
