Take a look behind the gate and explore family-owned farms where you can taste fresh produce, meet the farmers, and discover how they grow and care for the land.
Take a self guided tour of selected Mary Valley farms, or join one of our ambassadors on an intimate tour.
Stop for a bite at a local food spot or pick up supplies from selected outlets.

​Intimate Mary Valley Farm Trail with Matt Golinski
Join Matt on a culinary journey through the Mary Valley and visit some of his favourite Mary Valley farmers (he doen't really have any favourites!).
Discover the stories behind the people behind the business, their farming philosophy and why Matt is so passionate about these farmers.
Tour 9am to 3.30pm
Matt will be preparing something tasty and seasonal at each farm for you to enjoy.

Please arrive at 8.45am for a 9am start. The tour will introduce you to:
  • The Forage team at Forage Farm
  • John and Julia Tidy at John Tidy Organic's
  • The Scott Family at Kandanga Farm's K2 Organic Beef including a light lunch
  • Dave and Julie Moffat at Mary Valley Yuzu
We encourage you to bring cash and small esky for on farm purchases, comfortable clothing and sensible footwear, plus a hat or umbrella - weather permitting.

This event will start and finish at Forage Farm, Mullaly Rd, Kybong. Parking available for the duration of the tour.​

Intimate Mary Valley Farm Trail with Sunshine Coast Foodie
Join Martin on a guided bus tour through the Mary Valley and visit some of Martin's favourite Mary Valley farmers.  Discover the stories behind the people behind the business, their farming philosophy and why Martin is so passionate about these farmers.
Tour 12.30pm - 6.30pm

Please arrive by 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start. The tour will introduce you to:
  • John and Julia Tidy at John Tidy Organic's
  • Mick and Kylie Carr at Bunya Grove 
  • The Forage team at Forage Farm
  • Mary Valley Country Harvest Cooperative
This tour wouldn't be complete without a special Sconetime afternoon tea at Bunya Grove with lashings of whipped cream!
At the end of the tour you finish the day with supper full of Mary Valley goodness, at Dagun Station as guests of Mary Valley Country Harvest Cooperative. Meet the members of the Mary Valley Country Harvest Cooperative, a thriving growers community operating now for more than ten years. The collective knowledge of the MVCHC is vast!  The members are coming together for GourMay to present samples of their wares, their favourite dishes, and converse their fruity tales of homegrown awesomeness.

This event will start and finish at Dagun Railway Precinct. Parking is available at Dagun Station.

Mary Valley Yuzu

Visitors will get an education in all things yuzu, including its history, cultural usage, and modern uses in cuisine and distilling. Wander through the orchard and taste some homemade yuzu products.

Bunya Grove

TOUR: 8.30am - 10.00am. Approx 1.5 hours
Stretch your legs, grab some fresh air, and step into the wonderfully chaotic world of Bunya Grove— where the animals think they’re in charge and the farmers are doing their best to keep up. Enjoy a lively farm talk with Kylie & Mick as they spill the real stories behind growing food, fixing fences (sometimes twice), and surviving life on a working farm. Expect laughs, cheeky honesty, a few “did they really just say that?” moments, and a true-blue taste of country life — dust, humour, and all. Farm shop will be open to purchase goodies - bring an esky
NB: This is a walking tour up a steep hill:
  • must be fit,
  • enclosed foot wear able to step into a sanitising bath

Kandanga Farm is one of 3 Certified Organic, Mary Valley properties used in K2 Organic Beef’s “conception to consumption”, pasturefed beef operation.  Holistically managed and vertically integrated with Kandanga Farm Store as a central hub, beef cutup facility, retail outlet, cafe & events space.  This is a unique regenerative business paving the way for the normalisation of Organic food production and a great example of What Food Could Be!

Tucked away among the rolling green hills of Upper Kandanga in the beautiful Mary Valley, our family‑run dairy farm warmly welcomes visitors to step into farm life. Get up close with our gentle Jersey and Friesian cows and their calves, discover how milk journeys from paddock to dairy and into the bottle you buy in store, and enjoy the simple pleasure of homemade scones at the end of your tour. A genuine, hands‑on country experience in stunning countryside.

Kandanga Creek Christmas Trees (20 mins)
Step into the heart of Christmas at our family‑grown Christmas Tree Farm in the beautiful Mary Valley. Join us for a relaxed guided farm tour where you’ll learn how our trees are lovingly grown, wander through the rows, and enjoy the peaceful country setting. Perfect for families, friends, and groups, our tours offer a genuine farm experience filled with festive cheer, fresh country air, and the simple joy of creating special Christmas memories together.

Kenilworth Dairies (Kenilworth Cheese Factory)
located in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland town of Kenilworth, one and a half hours north of Brisbane, Queensland, 50 kilometres west of Noosa.

All Kenilworth Dairies cheese, yoghurt and mousse ranges are made using the highest quality milk from local farms surrounding our factory. Stop by Kenilworth Dairies for a delicious lunch and a little retail therapy, featuring fresh Sunshine Coast produce and our own delectable cheeses. We’re open 7:30am–3:00pm daily, with a retail area and FREE cheese sampling from 10:00am–2:00pm on Saturday the 16th of May.
