Camp Oven Dinner Who doesn't love a good old fashioned Camp Oven dinner? Come and join us for Imbil Rail Park Inc's third annual Camp Oven Competition and Dinner, Sunday 3rd May, 2026. Right in the middle of the May Day long weekend, so why not come and stay in the Valley and enjoy the country hospitality. During the day we will be running our annual camp oven competition (why not try your hand at that too?) and straight after the judging we will be purchasing their award-winning meals and hosting a magnificent dinner on the grounds of our historic Imbil Rail Park. After the garden tour, we will take you to our Drying Shed, where we will demonstrate how to craft a stunning floral centrepiece. This year not only she has partnered with The Green Bowl Edifice to relaunch the “Artist & Artisan” music/food series of events, but songwriting soup will also be part of the GourMay Show day presentations (on Sunday 3rd May) with a free 1-hour lyric workshop and performance preluding to the main event on Sunday 17th May. Amanda will take you through her songwriting process to invent a brand new song while Lady Penelope (Green Bowl Edifice) will delight your tastebuds with a series of small plate sensations using the best of local ingredients and focused on the theme of the afternoon - Soup!
